Meịr ben Bạruch,
 
jüdischer Gelehrter, * Worms um 1215, ✝ Ensisheim 27. 4. 1293; Rabbiner und Richter v. a. in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, wurde an der Auswanderung nach Palästina von Rudolf von Habsburg gehindert und seit 1286 in Ensisheim gefangen gehalten. Seine zum Teil noch ungedruckten Werke befassen sich mit Talmuderklärung, Brauchtum, Liturgie und der Masora und sind für die Kulturgeschichte der Juden im mittelalterlichen Deutschland aufschlussreich.
